Welcome to #BSWTogether

Welcome to the latest edition of #BSWTogether, a newsletter for everyone working in partner organisations in the BSW Integrated Care System (BSW Together).

As always, there’s plenty of exciting news and developments taking place across the BSW Together Integrated Care System, so why not take five minutes to read more about them and how they affect you?

This month we hear about how representatives from BSW Together Integrated Care Board have been to India as part of an initiative to attract new recruits to our health and care services in BSW.

Training and professional development is an important part of all of our work, so we also take a look at a new training initiative to increase our knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with autism and those with a learning disability. We also find out about a new scheme from the BSW Academy to help Allied Health Professional Support Workers progress their careers.

BSW Together is all about joint working, so in this issue we look at latest developments with our Acute Hospitals Alliance which has just been chosen by NHS England to be one of nine partnerships in England to join a Provider Collaboratives Innovator scheme.

Elsewhere in this issue of #BSWTogether, we look at how GWH in Swindon is leading the way with the introduction of a surgical robot, find out about new inclusive training from the BSW Academy and offer NHS workers a chance to sign up to celebrity fitness coach Joe Wicks’ Body Coach app for a free three month trial.
