Paul Miller leaves ICB role to become mental health trust Chair
The ICB’s Non-Executive Director for Finance has been named as the new Chair of Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.
Paul Miller will step down from his ICB role at the end of October, and formally take on the position of Chair at the mental health, learning disability and autism provider on 1 November.
He has been a part of the ICB since its establishment in July 2022.
Paul said: “It has been a privilege to be part of the ICB from day one.
“Being at the very start of new ways of working together across the NHS, local government and the voluntary and community sector has been a turning point in making a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
“We now have a clear set of priorities and ambitions that will ultimately help us build a healthier future for BSW, and I leave my role with a great sense of pride in what has been achieved over the last two years.”
Stephanie Elsy, BSW ICB Chair, said: “We are very grateful for Paul’s active support in the first two years of our ICB, and I am delighted that he will still be very much part of the health and care system, working to support some of the most vulnerable people within our communities”.
