A new and convenient way to order your repeat prescription: 0333 332 0050 bswccg.podemergency@nhs.net
If you are registered with one of the Swindon or Wiltshire POD practices and cannot use GP online services, then please do not call the practice directly to order your repeat prescriptions.
Instead, you can order repeat prescriptions by calling our NHS Swindon & Wiltshire Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) Service, on 0333 332 0050 .
If you are unable to get through to POD, please email bswicb.podemergency@nhs.net with the following essential information:-
- Name
- Date of birth
- GP practice
- Medicines required
- Your usual pharmacy
Your prescription will be sent to the pharmacy for collection after one week.
Please note: all e-mails will be deleted after one month and we are unable to respond individually to e-mails, but if your prescription request is urgent, it is advisable to telephone the POD to ensure it is dealt with the same day.
Opening hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
Please note Mondays are our busiest day, and our lines are always very busy during the first hour of any day (9am - 10am).
If you can't get through first time, please do try again after 15 minutes to allow the queue to reduce. The average call duration is only 3 minutes so you won't have to wait long.
The best times to call are between 12noon and 4.00pm on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
