Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) Pathways: Provide structured educational programs designed for pharmacy professionals. They aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of pharmacists through online courses, workshops, and learning sets. The pathways can cover a range of topics, including public health, clinical pharmacy, and leadership.

Independent Prescribing (IP) allows pharmacists to be able to prescribe medications independently following the completion of a specified training program. This qualification allows pharmacists to take on more responsibilities in patient care, improving the efficiency of healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. The Independent Prescribing course involves both theoretical learning and supervised practical experience.

Post-Graduate Diplomas are advanced academic qualifications that pharmacists can choose to pursue after completing their undergraduate degree. These diplomas provide specialised knowledge and skills in areas such as clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or public health. The courses typically involve a combination of coursework, practical training, and research projects.

• Leadership Options refer to training programmes or courses designed to develop leadership skills in pharmacists. Such courses aim to prepare pharmacists for leadership roles within healthcare settings, such as managing a pharmacy department or leading clinical projects.

Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Pathways are designed for pharmacists aiming to advance their clinical skills and knowledge. These pathways aim to provide comprehensive training in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and patient management. ACP pathways enable pharmacists to take on more extended or specialised roles within the healthcare team, often working alongside doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide high-level patient care.
