Finding an event
A list of all available events can be found on the Events page
On the Events page, you can use the “Event Location” filter to select a location near you. This will adjust the grid to only show events from that location.
Registration
To register onto the platform, you will need to go to the sign up page. Complete the registration form, and then click Register, and you’ll be able to access the site immediately.
If the username or email address you are using isn’t being accepted by the registration form, then it means you already have an account on the website. Go to the password reset page, enter your email address or username and you will receive an email to help you reset your password.
If your username or password isn’t being recognised, you can try resetting it on the password reset page. If that doesn’t work, it means you aren’t signed up to the website and need to complete the registration form.
Logging In
You can visit the login page to log into the website, and then go to Events → My Bookings, to see your current bookings.
Booking an event
You first need to find an event you can attend on the Events page. Click on “Read more” to go to the page for that event. You then click on “Book Now” and complete the booking form, to sign up for the event.
Make sure you click “Send your booking” at the bottom of the form, once you’ve filled it out.
Sometimes clicking “Book Now” will bring up a message saying “Bookings are closed for this event” as some events close for new bookings a few days before they are scheduled to run.
It may also say “This event is fully booked” which means there are no available spaces left on this event.
You are required to add your manager’s email address, who will receive an email notifying them of your booking, there is an option for them to reject your booking if necessary.
You cannot book for anyone other than yourself. This is because we need to keep track of who has and hasn’t attended the training so we need everyone to register individually.
Please log into your account and check that you entered your email address correctly when registering, as confirmation emails are sent directly to the email address provided.
Cancelling/Rejected and Rebooking
You can go to the My Bookings page and then next to your listed booking on that page there should be a “Cancel” link highlighted in blue that you can click. This will cancel your booking and you will lose your place at the event.
Events are booking up quickly so be aware that if you do cancel your booking, you may not be able to rebook for the same event.
Once you’ve canceled your booking, you can go back onto the Events page and search for another event you can attend.
You will have received a Booking Rejected email for one of the following reasons:
- Your manager has rejected the booking
- The event was fully booked and any bookings that were not approved by a manager have been rejected.
Some early events have become oversubscribed which has meant we had to reject any bookings that were not approved, however this should be a less common occurrence moving forwards.
If you book onto any event now, your place is reserved even if your booking is pending, and you will not have to worry about the event being oversubscribed.

If you visit the event page (which you can reach from the My Bookings page by clicking on the name of the event) you’ll see the date and time of the event, along with the address, listed at the top of the page, next to the Book Now button.
All venues will supply water, some venues have facilities to prepare your own hot drinks
No, we would advise bringing your own lunch as not all venues have local food retailers
9.00 – 5.00 – please arrive before 9 in order to register
There are AM and PM breaks for 10-15 mins and a lunch break for 45-60 mins
Most venues have onsite parking but may have limited spaces, please allow extra time when travelling. Where there are parking charges, this is not funded and there are no concessions available
There is a QR code you can scan to access an evaluation form on the day which can also be provided by your organisation following the event
As this is a full day course, we ask that you are available for the full session until 5.00
What happens after the training session
Your organisation has the slides, please request directly
We will send attendance records to your organisation to update your LMS systems, please request a copy of the completion certificate if required
