COMING SOON! The BSW Maternity website page will be closing soon and local information will be added to the Healthier Together website.
BSW’s maternity information will transition to the Healthier Together, a website and app which will become the new website for maternity patients across BSW. All maternity content is clinically endorsed by the Royal College of Midwifery and the app can guide you through symptoms, shows the safest care options and connects you with the right healthcare professional when needed.

Our vision
Maternity care is for all women and pregnant people to have a safe and positive birth and maternity experience and be prepared to approach parenting with confidence. We seek to continually improve and shape services alongside our families and our Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP). Everything we do is underpinned by four core commitments.
- Women and pregnant people and their chosen support networks will be our partners in care
- Maternity and Neonatal Services and organisational partners within the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) will work collaboratively together
- We will enhance safety through assisting all women and pregnant people to experience the best birth possible for their personal circumstances
- Women and pregnant people, dads and partners, birth supporters and families will be supported and enabled to optimise their health in preparation for pregnancy, birth and parenthood
In 2025, BSW are excited to be launching a shared digital record, BadgerNet, across our three maternity providers. With BadgerNet comes a personalised care app for parents, BadgerNotes, providing links to information on this resource along with additional links to other national sources of information for people who are booked with maternity services in BSW. BadgerNotes also provides access to your maternity records, results, sonograms and gives you the facility to write notes for yourself and your midwife. BadgerNotes replaces the handheld paper notes, allowing you to keep your record forever. You can learn more about it here.
