Recruitment process begins for BSW Partnership Chief Executive-designate position
NHS England and Improvement has begun a process to recruit a Chief Executive-designate to lead the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care System (ICS).
The recruitment of a CEO-designate is part of a nationwide process and follows the appointment of Stephanie Elsy as Chair-designate in July and the second reading of Health and Care Bill in Parliament.
The Health and Care Bill will formally establish ICSs and give their governing bodies – including an NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) – a broader range of responsibilities and empower them to better join up health and care, improve population health and reduce health inequalities.
The CEO of the BSW Partnership’s Integrated Care Board (ICB) will lead and inspire others to create a mature and thriving ICS and achieve the BSW Partnership’s vision of working together to empower people to lead their best life.
The BSW Partnership is one of 42 ICSs covering the whole of England, each serving between 500,000 and three million people. Each ICB will hold a substantial budget for commissioning high quality patient care and the authority to establish performance arrangements to ensure this is delivered.
