A big BSW vaccine “Thank you”

The BSW vaccination team have issued a huge thank you to staff and colleagues across BSW  who have participated in the 2024 Spring Covid-19 vaccination programme

BSW has once again achieved the highest vaccination rates nationally thanks to everyone’s hard work and dedication to reach as many of the local population as possible.  The programme officially ended on 30th June, and therefore no further vaccinations can be given

The only vaccinations now allowed are for those who are considered exceptional and eligible for an ‘inter-seasonal’ vaccine such as new stem cell transplant patients, and these must be administered under a Patient Specific Direction (i.e. prescribed individually).  Please contact us if there are any individuals in this cohort you wish to be vaccinated.  

The BSW vaccination team will pass on updates when they hear confirmation regarding Autumn 24 sign-up, with an anticipated start date in early October to align with the upcoming Flu.
