Local groups offer mental health support this Christmas

The lead up to Christmas is an exciting time, but it’s also a time that may make us feel anxious and stressed.

Mental health charity Mind, which has offices in Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire, has found that as many as 1 in 10 of us feel unable to cope at Christmas.

To help at this time of the year, Mind is offering a great deal of support and has shared some really useful wellbeing tips for Christmas on its website. You can read more about those here: Christmas wellbeing tips

The charity is also offering support through some online Christmas wellbeing activities. You can find more about how MIND is helping to support people all across BSW this Christmas at the following websites:

Christmas can also be a difficult time for those dealing with grief following a bereavement. A number of local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise groups and hospices are offering useful resources to help.
