Meeting reports: Integrated Care Board and Integrated Care Partnership

The BSW Integrated Care Board met in public on Thursday 18 July.

The meeting was held at the Somerdale Pavilion in Keynsham and was attended by board members as well as members of the public and other interested parties.

Some of the matters discussed were:

  • BSW ICB CEO Sue Harriman’s report (P21) covers plans to brief and connect with newly elected MPs following the recent general election, operational demand update, mitigation plans I put n place during recent industrial action by junior doctors, performance metrics, organisational change and place updates on BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire
  • Update on Health Inequalities Program (P29) outlining progress in this area with a comprehensive overview of what has been achieved to date and what more needs to be done
  • Operating and finical plan  offering update on offering the final operational planning submission for the BSW NHS system for the financial year 2024/25 (P57)
  • Current key performance metrics (P77)
  • Our final Joint Forward Plan (JFP), known in BSW as the Implementation Plan, for the BSW NHS system for 2024/25 (P89). You can download the full plan here

Meanwhile, a meeting in public of our Integrated Care Partnership took place in Trowbridge on Wednesday 10 July.

The meeting gave attendees a chance to find out in more detail about progress with BSW’s inequality strategy.

Attendees heard updates on local inequality projects and more about how BSW ICB ws making inequality everybody’s business.
