Swindon nurse skydives for local charity

Heidi Stanton, a nurse at Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust ins Swindon, took on an amazing skydiving challenge recently to help raise money for Prospect Hospice.

Brave Heidi jumped out of an aeroplane at 15,000 feet as part of a fundraising drive inspired by a visit to the hospice while she was taking part in end-of-life care training.

She has raised almost £1000 through sponsorship for completing her daredevil feat.

Last year Prospect Hospice supported more than 7,300 people; as patients, carer’s and family members, through a range of services developed to bring care, comfort and confidence at life’s most difficult time. Last year it cost 8.4 million pounds to raise funds and deliver our range of services. With less than 30 percent funding, your support really is vital to us

It’s still possible to make a donation towards Hedi’s skydive on her gofundme page
