BSW Academy: Unlocking potential, developing together
The BSW Academy is a new initiative as part of BSW Together, enabling collaboration across health and care services for the benefit of all of those working for partner organisations across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire
The BSW Academy brings together teams from across all of our health and care providers as part of a network and is mobilised through the core five pillars of: Leadership, Learning, Inclusion, Innovation, and Improvement.
The BSW Academy is a collaboration working with, and for, all our partners across health and care with an overall aim of enabling workforce development and transformation.
The Academy aims to embed collaboration at the core of our ways of working so that we learn and listen together with the aim to reduce duplication, enhance consistency, and take forward new ways of working and thinking to the benefit of our communities.
Some of the workstreams currently underway which will help the BSW Academy help you include:
- Coordinating system wide work experience/ widening participation routes
- Developing and implementing system leadership programmes
- Building sustainable training routes and addressing skills gaps for the future workforce
- Embedding quality improvement
