Electric Vehicles, the NHS and salary sacrifice schemes – find out more

BSW ICS’s recently published Green Plan sets out some ambitious targets for how health and care partners across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire will work towards delivering a net zero health and care service across our local area by 2040.

One of the targets set out in the strategy is for 90 per cent of fleet and salary sacrifice cars to be ultra low emission or zero emission by 2028.

Those working for NHS organisations in BSW who are interested in contributing towards this target can find out more about making the transition to an electric vehicle (EV) thanks to an upcoming online session hosted by the South West Greener NHS team and the Energy Saving Trust.

The Electric Vehicle myth busting webinar takes place on Tuesday 11 April, 12pm – 1.15pm, and will discuss the benefits of switching to an electric vehicle, address common questions around range, charging and cost from the perspective of current owners.

Salary sacrifice schemes are a great way to make purchasing an EV more affordable so the team will also be joined by NHS Fleet Solutions to explain their vehicle salary sacrifice services and answer questions.

Book your place by Monday 10 April, 12pm.
