As organisations across BSW Together work in a more seamless way, new roles have started to emerge which will help to improve and drive change through partnership working.
Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) are a great example of this. They typically come from a range of professional backgrounds including primary care, secondary care, outpatients, physiotherapy, podiatry, nursing and occupational therapy and have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on expanded roles and scope of practice caring for patients.
The team at the BSW Academy have made a new film which explains everything you need to know about ACPs and how you can make the next step in your career. You can watch it here:
If you’re interested in becoming an Advanced Clinical Practitioner you can find out more at the BSW Academy website or Health Education England’s website.
