New Christmas deals for health and care staff
In case you didn’t need reminding, Christmas is just around the corner, and we’re happy to pass on a few pre-Christmas money saving deals for health and care staff.
If you work for the NHS, sign up for free or log in via this Health Service Discounts link to get a code for 20 per cent off full-price adult shoes and accessories online only at Clarks.
To ensure your code works, you should complete your purchase within the same session and not open multiple tabs or visit another site until you’ve completed your order.
Free hot drinks at ASDA
Supermarket chain ASDA has a special Christmas offer for emergency responders. Until the end of December, emergency service workers can get a totally free cup of tea or coffee at over 330 Asda stores (find your nearest). There’s no minimum spend or purchase required, and this deal is valid from opening time until café closing, any day of the week, until Sunday 31 December.
To claim the free drink, Asda says emergency responders need to be on shift and in uniform. They can then help themselves to a free tea or coffee from either Asda Café or the self service Costa or Leon kiosk machines. Then, take the drink to the till and a member of staff will process it free of charge. The offer is for one drink per emergency responder.
At Pizza Hut restaurants (find your nearest), show a valid Blue Light Card code on any day (excluding bank holidays) and you can get 25% off food. It’s valid for both dine-in for up to six people, and in-store ordered takeaway, however it’s not available at Pizza Hut Delivery stores.
If you work for the NHS, you can get 20 per cent off the entire menu at McDonald’s once a week when ordering via the app.
You’ll need to download the free McDonald’s app (iOS/Android) and register for an account using your NHS email address. Once you’ve done this, you’ll then be able to select the 20 per cent discount offer within the deals section of the app.
