Taking action on inequalities requires use of data and intelligence, and the ability to apply this to the populations at greatest need. Good quality, robust data enables us to understand more about the populations we serve, helping to ensure equitable access, excellent experience, and optimal outcomes for all. The resources on this page help build a picture of national and local inequality gaps, and the Health Equity Assessment Tool (HEAT) helps professionals to systematically identify and address health inequalities and equity in their work programmes or services.
